No idea on the adhesions (sorry) but my first pregnancy triggered Coeliac Disease (gluten intolerance) and abdominal pain/changes in bowel movements are a sign of this. You can ask for a blood test for initial screening for CD.![]()

I know adhesions are pretty common, but on the basis of the urgency to have a bowel movement I would suggest that it is worth at least a trip to your GP. They may suggest a nutritionist as a 1st step to rule out diet as a cause but it's not worth putting up with a symptom like that.
